Can Tottenham still qualify for the Europa League? Spurs have one game to save 2022/23 season
Tottenham's 2022/23 season has been one to forget, but Europa League football is still possible with one game to play.
Spurs are currently eighth in the top flight but face strong competition from Aston Villa, Brighton and Brentford for the final spot in UEFA's secondary competition.
Tottenham started the season brilliantly, but since the World Cup, the club have plummeted down the table and they could miss out on European football all-together.
Can Tottenham still qualify for the Europa League?
Despite a 3-1 defeat to Brentford, the north London giants can still secure a spot in the Europa League.
However, they need to beat Leeds on the final day to stand any chance.
Any result other than a win wouldn't be enough.
But their hopes could be dashed well before then should Brighton take three points from their two games against Southampton and Manchester City.
If the Seagulls win either of those matches, Tottenham's Europa League hopes would be over.
Should Brighton fail to win either, everything would go to the final day.

If the Seagulls manage anything more than two points, it would be impossible for Spurs to finish above them.
Aston Villa are also in contention but could help Tottenham in their quest for sixth.
However, Unai Emery's men would finish above Tottenham should they beat the Seagulls.
Therefore, the only result that would see Spurs qualify for the Europa League is a draw between Brighton and Villa on the final day.
But for that to be even possible, Roberto De Zerbi's men would have to drop five points from their next two fixtures.
So it's extremely unlikely, but Spurs can still finish this season with Europa League football.
