Cape Schanck: Horror as man, 24, falls to death down cliff face

A 24-year-old man has died after falling down a cliff face at Cape Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula, near Melbourne.

It is believed two men, both aged 24 and from NSW, were climbing a cliff face just off the Two Bays walking track at Bushrangers Bay about 7pm on Friday.

CPR was performed on one of the men, but he died at the scene.

The other man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances of the fall are yet to be determined at this stage, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
