VRIT Releases New Bunker Studio Sessions EP

Today, independent alt-pop queen VÉRITÉ (AKA Kelsey Byrne) has released the Bunker Studio Sessions, Brooklyn, NY— a live EP produced in collaboration with New York based all female orchestra, Little Kruta.

This new EP includes 5 reworked versions of tracks from VÉRITÉ’s debut album, Somewhere In Between. Inspired by Byrne’s performance with the 20 piece, all female orchestra earlier this year with The Hum Series (a concert series celebrating the artistry of female and non-binary musicians) at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, it was only natural for the project to transition into a recorded product.

“The reaction to the performance and working with such talented, badass women made this EP inevitable. It’s nice to make something beautiful and have it exist in the world. I’m excited to end a chapter with this set of music,” says VÉRITÉ on the collaboration.

VÉRITÉ is a critically acclaimed Brooklyn-based independent musician. Her debut full length album Somewhere In Between was released in January of 2017 has yielded almost 200 million Spotify streams. VÉRITÉ’s cover of “Somebody Else” by The 1975 went viral and currently has over 100 million streams on Spotify.

VÉRITÉ was also recently featured on Neon Gold’s 10 year anniversary compilation, NGX: Ten Years of Neon Gold, in collaboration with Matt Maeson on a reworked version of his song “Tribulation.”

VÉRITÉ is currently back in the studio working on music for her new album which is set to be released next year.
